Bio

Alex’s wandering spirit and thirst for knowledge has led him to a variety of sometimes extreme but always-enlightening experiences ranging from bouldering in French forests and stick fighting in the Philippines to eating bugs in the jungles of Fiji.

Alex’s unconventional approach to learning was evident even in law school, where alongside hitting the books, he was hitting the heavy bag as a member of the Harvard Boxing Club. After a car accident in 2007 forced Alex to reevaluate his career as a corporate lawyer for a top flight Los Angeles law firm, he set out to create the next chapter in his personal story. It didn’t take long. Within months, his zest for adventure while on a mountaineering expedition caught the eye of reality TV scouts and he was recruited as a contestant on Survivor Fiji. Alex came close to becoming sole survivor, being eliminated 33 days into the 39-day competition.

In 2007, Alex founded PrepInteractive, LLC, where he hosted and produced video-based mobile phone applications, regularly featured on the “What’s Hot” lists in iTunes.  In 2009, he launched Global Instincts, sharing his adventures as he traveled around the world learning from martial arts masters while obtaining a top-notch MBA from INSEAD. Alex also served as an Anchor for the INSEAD News Network.

In 2010, Alex returned to Los Angeles to pursue his career as a speaker, television host, and entrepreneur. In his short time back in California, Alex has appeared in infomercials, commercials, print advertisements, and been a speaker for professional development organizations and colleges. Alex speaks and facilitates workshops on how to create and communicate your personal story, encouraging others to uncover their hidden talents through their own journey, an endless adventure of self-discovery.
